Our Founder and Team Leader — Mairead O’Sullivan

Mairead’s 26 years in HR and recruitment have given her rare perspectives on executive search and staffing strategies.

Having led human resources departments in Fortune 500 companies, she has first-hand experience of the recruitment process from the hiring business’s perspective. Mairead founded GG Selection because she knew that organisations needed a fresh approach from their recruitment partners. To deliver this to clients with a global impact, she is joined by a team that shares her approach: one rooted in empathy, ethos and purpose.

Though her professional background was originally in Aviation and management consultancy, her work with GG selection has introduced her to a host of industries. She quickly learned that you cannot take a ‘one size fits all’ approach to a sector, nor make any assumptions about who a business needs based on its vertical.

Above all, Mairead and her team are committed to two overriding principles. One is to treat all candidates with respect, so that their impression of you is positive whatever the outcome. The other is always to treat your business as an individual with unique needs, meaning every search is tailored to you.
